Advertising may fund the site. It will never write the stories.

Deeply Curious is preparing monetisation with Google AdSense. The verification code and Google consent platform are in place, but no advertising placement is active and no advertising revenue has been received. Once Google approves the Site, advertising may help fund it without influencing editorial decisions.

Display advertising

Advertising placements will be visually separated from editorial content and clearly labelled. No advertiser will have editorial control over an independent story concerning it.

The number of placements will be limited to preserve a fast reading experience, especially on mobile. Intrusive, deceptive or difficult-to-close formats are not part of the project.

Affiliate links

If a link ever earns Deeply Curious a commission, that relationship will be disclosed nearby. The commission must not change the price paid by the reader.

Sponsored content

Content funded by a brand will carry an explicit label such as “Partnership” or “Sponsored content”. It will never be presented as independent reporting.

Audience measurement and consent

The advertising partner currently configured is Google AdSense, operated in Europe by Google Ireland Limited. The Site uses Google’s consent-management platform, certified under Google’s requirements and integrated with the IAB TCF. It presents the relevant purposes and partners and lets visitors accept, reject or customise their choices where required by law.

AdSense code and consent resources may send Google technical information — such as the IP address, browser, page visited and consent choices — according to the configuration and the visitor’s decision. No advertising placement is active as of this update. No separate audience-analytics tool is installed, and newsletter open and click tracking remains disabled.
