What is active today and what will require your consent in future.
1. What are cookies used for?
A cookie or tracker is information read from or stored on your device when you use an online service. Some are essential to its operation. Others may measure audiences, personalise services or fund a publication through advertising.
2. Current status of the Site

WordPress login cookies mainly concern the authenticated administrator. Ordinary visitors are not asked to create an account. When a comment is submitted, WordPress may offer to remember the name and email address locally; this remains optional. MailPoet uses basic mode: open pixels, click tracking and cookie tracking are disabled.
3. Your choice
No advertising tracker, optional audience-measurement tool or newsletter-engagement tracking is currently enabled. Google Fonts is an external resource, but Deeply Curious does not use it to measure visitors. At present, no optional purpose requiring a general consent banner is deployed.
Before advertising is enabled, Deeply Curious will install a certified consent-management platform compatible with applicable requirements. It must in particular:
- present “Accept all” and “Reject all” with comparable prominence;
- block optional trackers before a positive choice where consent is required;
- allow sufficiently granular choices about purposes and partners;
- allow the choice to be changed or withdrawn at any time;
- remember consent or refusal for a limited period, generally six months.
4. Detailed tracker list
Items currently used:
- WordPress login and security cookies, only when necessary;
- optional comment cookies, only when the reader asks the browser to remember their information, for up to approximately one year;
- temporary technical data required by the newsletter form and its invisible anti-bot protection;
- font-file requests to Google Fonts on certain pages, without audience measurement by Deeply Curious.
If a CMP is enabled later, it will display an up-to-date list of purposes, providers, durations and trackers. Deeply Curious will revise this page before adding any audience tool, advertising network, embedded video or external service.
5. Settings and questions
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Those settings do not replace the Site’s future consent controls and may affect essential features.
